15 years of life rolled down, and today at this platform, OH MY GOD! didn’t even realize, how time fleets.
Good Morning everyone I Burhanuddin Limdiwala the Head Prefect of this shrine The St. Marys School. The abode of knowledge, wisdom, discipline and I can go on and on and on. I am grateful for everything I received in fact we received from this Alma Mater.
Today whatever I am it is because of my school. When I say my school, it turns me poignant and overwhelmed, my love for the school is as deep as the Pacific Ocean.
Thank you Zubin sir, for providing us with such a school, that is next to impossible in a place like Dahod. Unfathomable gratitude we love you sir so much. Our holistic development wouldn’t have been possible without the scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities provided by the school, for which I would specially like to thank our principal Mrs. Ila Shukla, Sherry ma’am and Dipesh sir and also Vallery ma’am and Yazdi sir for their unconditional love.
I would like to show my sincere gratitude towards Asutosh sir. Thank you sir, for always guiding and inspiring me. And Renuka ma’am words wouldn’t suffice how prestigious you are for me. You are just like my mother and you mean the world to me. Thank you ma’am for everything.
I want to thank each and every teacher as for their relentless efforts that shaped, groomed and nurtured us. As school has instilled in us or I should say we are ambassadors of GOOD THOUGHTS, GOOD WORDS AND GOOD DEEDS. I promise I will follow the motto in my life and make my school and parents proud.
To quote Walt Whitman,
” And forever by day & night, I give back life to my own origin. And make pure and beautify it.”
I conclude with the lines of Robert Frost,
The woods are lovely dark & deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep.
Now my friends, for the last time let us all get up and recite our School Anthem.
