ADVENTURE BASED LEARNING PROGRAMME; MARCH 2018

Dear Parent,

We at St Mary School, Dahod, are engaging with Youreka (A brief note attached) to provide our children with a unique learning experience.

The Youreka program is conducted in the outdoors where children get an opportunity to be with nature and engage in adventure activities. This outdoor learning program is the extension of our endeavour to provide for the wholesome development of a child's personality and also bringing the child closer to the environment and nature.

We feel, that though we teach the children about rain forest, wildlife etc., we are able to do little to encourage children's personal relationship with the outside world, due to our limited means. Children remain glued to the Internet, computer games and TV. This alienation from the natural world does impact our child's long term physical and mental well being. Studies show that interacting with the natural world encourages children to sharpen all their senses.

YOUREKA is the pioneer of adventure based learning programs for children in India. Over 50000 children from all over India and overseas have experienced Youreka in the past 20 years.

The program being organized for our school will be conducted at the Dharamshala, campus of Youreka. The details about the program are given in the attached note.

I would like to reiterate that our children's safety is our primary concern and we will have our teachers accompany the group.

We would like you to encourage your child to participate in the program. Please send back the duly filled registration form to the class teacher latest by 2nd Dec.

There are limited seats on the program and enrolment will be offered on a first come first served basis.

For more details please log onto www.youreka.in or www.facebook.com/Youreka

The little things in Youreka since 1996, like experiencing the simple gestures of children, the feelings and thoughts they share and translating the same into accomplishment, have been priorities for us. We adore children, all accolades to their instant grasping powers, their infectious smile and their quest for knowledge has made us reach to over 50,000 children of varied age groups internationally. We are proud to say that we continue to achieve unsurpassed levels of safety, care, fun along with learning, which we call “Youreka Moments”.

Our 1:7 adult to child ratio ensure to provide an extraordinary challenge, along with unforgettable adventurous experiences which are designed by our STAR instructors keeping varied age groups in mind, providing lifetime erudition, suitably designed to cater to kids discerning fun and learning.
